Who We Are
Located in McLean, Virginia, Pasadena Villa Outpatient – McLean specializes in treating adults (18 years or older) who have mood disorders, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, and co-occurring autism spectrum disorder.
Group settings are notoriously difficult to consistently meet the needs of each individual and focus on a curriculum created for specific diagnoses. At McLean, we assess the needs of each individual within the group daily to prepare the next day’s sessions while also ensuring that each day seamlessly builds off the previous.

Pasadena Villa Outpatient Center – McLean is now in-network with Anthem. We also accept out-of-network benefits from other major insurance companies. For those preferring to pay for treatment directly, we offer a private pay rate.

Phillip A. Reynolds, LCSW-C
Phillip A. Reynolds comes to Pasadena Villa with over 17 years of experience as a mental and behavioral health professional. He identifies and maximizes strengths while cultivating a sense of community and culture within organizations and treatment milieus.
His training and experience as owner of a psychotherapeutic practice and behavioral coaching company for the past 11 years give him unique insights into human behavior. He has significant experience across the spectrum of treatment including traditional outpatient private practice, educational support services, intensive in-home psychoeducational and behavioral supports, and other private wraparound services for youth needs, and returning from, higher levels of care outside of the home (i.e. wilderness programs, residential treatment programs, therapeutic boarding schools, etc.).
He previously served as the Program Director of Recognize, Internalize, Verbalize, Empathize, Recovery, and Safety (R.I.V.E.R.S.), a program he reimagined and rebuilt for youth with sexual behavior problems at Sheppard Pratt’s Jefferson School Residential Treatment Center (RTC) in Jefferson, Maryland.
He maintains strong relationships with clients, employees, and stakeholders and his success at driving organizational impact highlight his skills in anticipating issues/risks, challenging assumptions, and identifying opportunities.
Phillip has a Master of Clinical Social Work Degree from Smith College School for Social Work. He also holds Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Sociology and Psychology from Elon University, along with minors in Anthropology and Women/Gender Studies, and a concentration in Human Sexuality.
Dr. Thomas Pillion
Dr. Thomas Pillion is a Board Certified Psychiatrist who received his doctorate in medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and trained in general adult psychiatry at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness, utilizing both psychotherapy and medication management to target a range of problems, including Depression, Anxiety, OCD, PTSD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, etc.
Prior to medical school, Dr. Pillion taught high school history and received degrees in theology, philosophy, and politics from Franciscan University of Steubenville, the International Academy of Philosophy in Liechtenstein, and University of Dallas.
Krystle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional that has been providing therapeutic treatment for over 15 years. Her specialized areas of focus include Complex PTSD and Trauma Recovery, and Conscious Family Relationships. She has served as a Subject Matter Expert for the U.S. Department of the Army and have provided therapeutic treatment, consultation, and education services across the public and private sector.
It is Krystle’s belief that every client is capable of reaching goals that will improve their quality of life—regardless of what challenges, difficulties, or experiences they have or will face.
Krystle holds a Master’s Degree in Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) with a focused concentration on Military Families from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ. Her undergraduate degree in Psychology is from the University of Pittsburgh, where she obtained dual minors in the natural sciences and anthropology.
Arielle Griffin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She has worked in both the outpatient medical clinic care and acute hospital care. Arielle also has experience providing individual, group, and family therapy to those who have experienced trauma or are navigating grief. In addition to this, Arielle has worked with clients experiencing stress, anxiety, and many other mental health disorders. Arielle’s counseling approach involves Cognitive- Behavioral, Psychodynamic, Solution- focused and Client- centered therapy.
Homa is a goal-driven and result-oriented Healthcare Administrator with over 6 year of administrative and management experience. Homa graduated with a Bachelor of Health Administration and Management from George Mason University. In her previous roles, Homa was responsible for managing daily operations, overseeing marketing and referral tracking. Homa is a dedicated and motivated individual that is excited to work with clients at Pasadena Villa to ensure that clients experience a seamless admission process and the best treatment possible.
Dana comes to Pasadena Villa with experience in behavioral and crisis management, psychiatric case management and program outreach. She has worked with clients through the admissions process to ensure verification of benefits, paperwork completion, and policy and program implementation. Dana has an extensive background in customer service, and has both a personal and professional devotion to the field of mental health. She has a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Northeastern Illinois University.
